Only two green travel destinations for Belgians: only here you can go without worries | Coronavirus is spreading

There are only two green travel destinations for Belgians: the Croatian province of Istria and the island of La Palma in the Spanish Canary Islands. This is evident from an update of the corona map on the website of Foreign Affairs. In addition, many orange zones in neighboring countries were also scaled up to red areas. It is not recommended to travel there.

For example, traveling to the Netherlands is completely discouraged, now that the province of Zeeland has also gone from orange to red. In France, twelve additional departments turn red, in Germany the regions of Berlin and Bremen.

Switzerland has recently only had orange zones, for which increased vigilance or because the local authorities have introduced entry restrictions. However, most of the cantons have now turned red and only a few central colors are still orange. Italy was also completely orange, but on the latest map the regions of Valle d’Aosta, Liguria, Campania and Umbria and the autonomous provinces of Bolzano and Trente are colored red.

There are also several additional red zones in Ireland, Croatia, Austria, Poland and the United Kingdom. In Sweden, Stockholm turns red.

But there is also a reverse movement. In Spain in particular, a number of red zones turn orange. This concerns areas in Galicia and the Canary Islands.

On the website of the FPS Foreign Affairs it has now also been officially deleted that those who return from a red zone must be quarantined and have a test taken. From now on, these measures may or may not be imposed on the basis of the Passenger Locator Form. This recently included a “self-evaluation questionnaire” that determines whether you have taken any risks during your trip. This is a decision of the National Security Council at the end of September.
