Only two games played on Wednesday.

The 6th day of the Butagaz Energie League will be reduced to its simplest form this Wednesday. Indeed, of the seven matches initially scheduled for Wednesday, only two matches can be played on the date and time scheduled. Faced with the positive results of the coronavirus screening tests carried out within the clubs, but also because of the various contact cases, the medical commission of the French Handball Federation first announced on Monday the postponement of four meetings scheduled for Wednesday: Besançon – Bourg-de-Péage, Nantes – Mérignac, Plan-de-Cuques – Paris 92 as well as Fleury – Brest.

Nice and Chambray do not escape the postponement

However, following a new deliberation by this federal commission, a fifth meeting had to be postponed to a later date. In fact, scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., the match between Nice and Chambray will ultimately not be played on that date. Consequently, only two matches of the 6th day of Ligue Butagaz Energie will be played this Wednesday. First, at 5:00 p.m., Toulon-Saint-Cyr will receive Metz while, from 6:00 p.m., Saint-Amand-les-Eaux will welcome the Dijon team on its floor. To all of these postponements is also added that of the advanced match of the 9th day, scheduled for October 31, between Paris 92 and Nantes. No postponement date for all of these matches has yet been communicated by the French Handball Federation while the schedule for the entire season could be in difficulty by the accumulation of postponements in recent weeks. and those to be expected in the coming weeks due to the health situation.
