Only three changes in Lyon on Friday: Morisi, Varney and Lamb return, Capuozzo moves to wing again. And on the bench there are 6 forwards and just two backs
Only three changes for Kieran Crowley’s Italy, who denies all possible turnover hypotheses and fields what he considers the best possible lineup for the super match against the All Blacks. Luca Morisi and Stephen Varney, rested against Uruguay, return to the field in place of Lorenzo Pani and Alessandro Garbisi. In front, however, the usual relay between Dino Lamb and Niccolò Cannone.
The choices
—
A more conservative choice for the Italian coach among the attacking midfielders, with Tommaso Allan returning as a fullback to ensure greater coverage in defense and Capuozzo returning as a winger. As regards the scrum package, however, only one change with Lamb replacing Niccolò Cannone. Next to him is Ruzza. The entire third line (Negri, captain Lamaro and Lorenzo Cannone) and the first line have been confirmed: Marco Riccioni, the best right prop in the last English Premiership, is now fully recovered after his injury and will start from the start alongside Nicotera and Fischetti. Also pay attention to the bench: 6 forwards (and a possible world debut for Halafihi) and only 2 backs: Page-Relo and Odogwu.
