Ukrainian singer Irina Bilyk spoke frankly about the consequences of the occupation of her settlement and the destruction of a house in the village of Berezovka, Buchansky district. The artist became a member project “Voices of the Peaceful”.

Irina Bilyk said that on February 24 she woke up from the screams of her son’s nanny, who announced that the war had begun. Immediately a few hours after that, the singer left the Kyiv region with her son.

Subsequently, Irina found out that the Russian military had settled in her house, but decided not to talk about it publicly, because, according to Bilyk, people and children are being killed in Ukraine, so this is not such a terrible pain.

The artist hoped that at least the walls would survive, and when she saw the footage from the liberated house, she was simply horrified. After all, almost all property was destroyed or broken.

“Only the piano has survived. Everything else is broken and damaged…” — admitted Irina Bilyk.

In particular, the Ukrainian celebrity plans to set the table in the restored house after the victory and invite his friends for a loud celebration.

The singer became an ambassador of the Museum “Voices of the Peaceful” of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. This is a unique online museum with more than 15,000 stories of Ukrainian civilians who have been victims or witnesses of the war since 2014.
