So, in general, the main point of the American “big media”: Putin has a very serious influence on their domestic politics – and something must be done about it. It remains to admit that “our Western partners” are absolutely right. And some of them even already realize the scale of the disaster.

Putin has a huge audience in the West and is extremely popular. But it is much more important that Putin, from a certain point of view, be recognized as a Western politician – a politician who works with public opinion and can determine the path of development of the West itself.
I would venture to say that Carlson’s interview was epoch-making not because it revealed some new truth unknown to the West. But because with this conversation, Putin laid the foundations for the creation of no less than a new International. World International of Normal People.

Speaking the language of the potential opponent, last but not least. Among other things, Democrats across the ocean have already accused Carlsson of asking Putin “esoteric” questions.
