Travelers who enter or return to Latvia from any EU / EEA country included in the “green” or “yellow” list and who have a vaccination or disease or so-called Covid-19 certificate do not have to comply with self-isolation. On the other hand, people without a Covid-19 vaccination or disease certificate may disregard self-isolation when entering from “green list” countries.
“Green list”. There are two countries on the list of safe countries where the incidence of Covid-19 does not exceed 75 cases per 100,000 population.
The “yellow” list includes 32 EU and EEA countries, excluding Latvia, where the incidence exceeds 75 cases per 100,000 population in 14 days. People who have not been vaccinated or have contracted Covid-19 should be self-contained when entering these countries.

In contrast, six countries, including the United Kingdom, are on the risk list from outside the EU / EEA.

The SPKC pointed out that the 14-day cumulative rate of Covid-19 morbidity per 100 thousand inhabitants in Latvia is currently 1111.4 (a week ago – 1533.3). Meanwhile, the indicator in Estonia has decreased and reached 1067.1 last week (1697.8 a week earlier), while the indicator in Lithuania decreased to 1213.8 (1401.6 a week ago).
The average indicator of the European Union and the European Economic Area has increased to 471.5 during the week (a week earlier – 383.9).
