11/13/2024 | (rsn) – After saying goodbye to the track, Robin Froidevaux is getting better and better at Tudor Pro Cycling. The Swiss champion of 2022 has not yet achieved his big breakthrough, but the Vaudois continues to show flashes of his talent.
Froidevaux finished 13th in the Clasica Almeria early in the season after starting his third Tudor year at the Mallorca Challenge. The Tour of the Algarve followed before he prepared for the Giro d’Italia at Tirreno-Adriatico and Milan-Turin. The 26-year-old completed his first Grand Tour as a helper in 136th place.

In September he sprinted to third place on the day in the hill final of the 2nd stage of the Tour of Luxembourg, with only the two road world champions Mads Pedersen (Lidl – Trek) and Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin – Deceuninck) being faster. European champion Christophe Laporte (Visma – Lease a Bike), on the other hand, came fourth behind the Tudor professional.
A few weeks later, Froidevaux was also in good form at the Cro Race. With consistent performances, he made it into the top 20 on five of the six stages and finished the Croatian tour in 20th place. As a reward for his achievements, he received a contract extension from Tudor management until the end of 2026.
