It is in fact very rich in vitamins B and C, but also contains a good amount of other substances such as folic acid, copper and iron, as well as antioxidants and ellagic acid. The latter, in particular, is a phenolic compound famous for being excellent for cancer prevention. The yellow raspberry also has a high percentage of dietary fiber, which makes up about 20% of the berry’s weight.
