Ryanair cancels 107 flights over the coming weekend. For 19,000 passengers, a year-end is likely to be less, especially since Ryanair has not yet communicated exactly which flights it concerns. The cause is the strike of the crew. Ryanair pays stewards and flight attendants minimum wages and some earn even less than €2,000 gross. “Life is hard in Belgium,” says Hans Elsen of ACV Puls.
