The SV Neukirchen b. Holy Blood had calculated more in the first league game after the winter at TSV Bad Abbach.
SV Neukirchen bei Heiligen Blut had to settle for a disappointing 1-1 draw in their first competitive game after the winter break at bottom team TSV Bad Abbach. On difficult terrain, the tail light was even a little closer to victory and with a bit of luck, the Bad Abbachers would have won their first triple point of the current round.

The extremely bumpy turf made it anything but easy for the players. Fluid combination play was not possible, so that fighting was clearly the trump card. The TSV Bad Abbach didn’t hide and tried to keep the favored rosary players permanently busy. They didn’t come into the game at all in the early stages. Consequently, the bottom of the table made it 1-0 in the 19th minute: former Bayern league kicker Daniel Willberger headed a corner into the net to give TSV the lead.
A rough blunder then led to equalization fifteen minutes later. After a long ball, Bad Abbach goalkeeper Fabian Fuchs rushed out of his box, but shot a defender trying to clear, so Denis Nikolov had no trouble putting the ball into the empty goal from 35 meters to make it 1-1 (34th). After the change of sides, TSV Bad Abbach tried everything. The kickers from the district of Kelheim showed great commitment and could have scored the second goal if Peter Auchter and Kevin Kandsperger had good chances. Only in the final phase did Neukirchen, who had to do without Zbynek Konopasek and Johannes Conrady as well as Martin Zimmermann, who was new to the winter season, came out stronger. Captain Lukas Novy missed the TSV goal by a hair’s breadth with a flick from the edge of the penalty area. In another promising opportunity, Petro Bodnaruk, who broke through, played a cross pass that didn’t work. The winger’s own conclusion would have been a better option. However, the rosary did not deserve a threesome that day.

“Both the result and our performance were unsatisfactory. In very difficult space conditions, we had a very difficult time. In the course of the game we accepted the fight, but against a very aggressive opponent who was willing to run, we mostly only reacted and acted far too little. The draw was okay in a game with few chances.”summed up Neukirchen’s coach Konrad Früchtl.
His Bad Abbach coach colleague Markus Kandsperger said: “It was a very competitive game in which we were actually the more active team. We should have taken the lead immediately after the break. Neukirchen only came out stronger from the back, but apart from Novy’s shot, he didn’t have a compelling chance throughout the game. I think we deserved the win.”
