Toyota launched a more handsome Corolla Cross, namely the Corolla Cross Modellista. The SUV, which gets a touch of Modellista-style modification, was launched in Thailand.
With the Modellista modification package, the Corolla Cross looks sportier. The modification package is available exclusively for the Corolla Cross 1.8 Hybrid Premium and 1.8 Hybrid Premium Safety.
Toyota also limited the number of Corolla Cross Modellista produced. This car is available only as many as 250 units. Prices start from 1,130,500 baht (Rp 492 million) to 1,240,500 baht (Rp 540 million).

Toyota Corolla Cross Modellista accessories that make this more handsome cover the full bodykit. That includes the front lip, side skirt, and rear lip. There are also unique 18-inch multispoke wheels.
Toyota Corolla Cross Modellista pure only changes the outside appearance. No changes were made to the interior and engine of the Toyota Corolla Cross Modellista.

In Thailand, Corolla Cross Modellista customers can choose between the regular all-black cabin or the two-tone Terra Rossa reddish brown upholstery. This hybrid car also gets a sunroof.
The power source for the Toyota Corolla Cross is the 2ZR-FXE 1.8 liter Atkinson petrol engine. The engine is capable of spitting out power of up to 98 PS at 5,200 rpm with a maximum torque of 142 Nm at 3,600 rpm.
The petrol engine is mated to an electric motor capable of providing a power boost of up to 72 PS and 163 Nm of torque. The combination of the gasoline engine and electric motor creates a total power of 122 PS.
Power is sent to the front wheels via an e-CVT transmission. As a hybrid car, the Corolla Cross is accompanied by a 6.5 Ah nickel-metal hydride battery.
For safety features, only the 1.8 Hybrid Premium Safety gets Toyota Safety Sense. The system includes features such as pre-collision safety with auto emergency brake, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, auto high beam, and driver attention alert. Other features include seven airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, blind spot warning, 360-degree surround view camera, and hill start assist.
