LAMPUNG, KOMPAS.com – Online taxi driver shooter in Bandar Lampung turns out to be a person TNI members who is still active on duty.
Chief of Information of the 043 Garuda Hitam Korem (Kapenrem) Major (Inf) Joko Warsito said the driver’s gunner was Sgt G.
G shot the online taxi driver on Jalan ZA. Pagar Alam, Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung, on Saturday (20/3/2021).
“We have arrested the perpetrator and are currently detained at Denpom II / 3 Lampung,” said Joko when contacted, Sunday (21/3/2021).

The perpetrator was an active member of the TNI who served in the 143 / Tri Wira Eka Jaya Infantry Battalion (Yonif) in Candimas Village, Natar.
Joko said the perpetrator of Sgt G shot the victim on behalf of Kurnialis Asmarantaka (51), a resident of Langkapura.
“The incident took place in front of the BPJS Kesehatan office at around 08.00 WIB,” said Joko.
According to Joko, because the perpetrator was an active TNI member, the case was handled by the Military Police Datasemen (Denpom).
“For the chronology and motives of shooting it’s still deepening. For the time being, we are releasing confirmation that the perpetrator is a TNI person, “said Joko.
Previously reported, an online taxi driver was shot by his own passenger and then dumped in an oil palm plantation.
The accident happened to Kurnalis Asmarantaka (51) a resident of Langkapura, Bandar Lampung on Saturday (20/3/2021) morning.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. Currently the victim is still undergoing treatment at Medika Natar Hospital.
The victim was found with his car, Agya BE 1461 CC, on the edge of an oil palm plantation on Jalan Lintas Sumatera, Natar Village.
