Chronology
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Rungkut Iptu Police, Djoko Soesanto, explained that initially the victim RA, who was a resident of Kedung Baruk, received orders for passengers on Monday (24/1/2023).
He then headed to Jalan Rungkut Alang-alang.
Apparently, the online taxi orderrs were two perpetrators namely Salim (31), a resident of Sampang and his cousin Syamsuddin (25) from South Sumatra.
Both of them made orders with the destination location in the Suramadu area.

Djoko stated that Syamsuddin sat in the back seat. While Salim was in the seat next to the victim at the front.
Both of them suddenly asked RA to stop the taxi when the vehicle had not gone far.
“It turned out that the two passengers had evil intentions. Both took out sickles. The rear passenger put the sickle around the victim’s neck,” he said, Wednesday (1/25/2023), as reported by Surya.
The victim, said Djoko, had pleaded not to be injured, but Salim, who was sitting at the front, actually pressed the sickle until RA’s neck was injured.
