Mission Earth is a science fiction for children about the future. The show will take young spectators on an exciting journey through time and into the depths of space, looking at our planet responsibly but in many ways, the representatives of the theater “Dirty Deal Teatro” informed in a press release.

The premiere will take place on November 22 at 17.00 on the online platform “Zoom”.

In 2118, Elizabeth and John are the few survivors on planet Earth who have decided to go to another galaxy in a spaceship and look for new homes. The land has remained uninhabitable, affected by various ecological disasters, resources have been depleted and wildlife can no longer exist.

The show “Mission Earth” merges science with the world of fantasy, it encourages creative and responsible thinking about the environment in which we live.

Together with the two researchers, the children will learn the secrets of the origin of our planet and prepare to go on a space mission, but will face magnetic storms, acid rain, cyber attacks, solve problems with the spacecraft and other unexpected complications.

Director Inga Tropa talks about the show: “The earth existed billions of years before us humans. It will exist without us. The show will conjure up a sci-fi tense mission about the distant future, when humanity has destroyed its homes and now must look for new ones. In a hectic adventure, Jānis, the senior inspector of the H2O Institute, and Elizabeth, a beekeeper and researcher of land agronomic measurements, will try to get away from the destroyed Earth, but in the end will find new homes not in the depths of space, but unexpectedly close. “

The performance is created by director Inga Tropa together with actors Elizabeth Skrastiņa and Jānis Kronis, technical solutions and scenography have been created by Andris Landaus.
