In the Online Marketing Challenge, Saxon companies work together with foreign business administration students from Saxony on a digital sales campaign to win new international customers.
With an advertising budget of EUR 500 (provided by the company), around ten teams find out which online channels are best for promoting and trading brands and products. In addition, they draw valuable insights into the approach, behavior and preferences of the foreign target groups from the campaign. The challenge lasts three months. The team with the most effective and creative campaign wins.

ONLINE MARKETING PROFESSIONALS WANTED
At OMC, the teams are to receive support from a professional from the creative industry for the first time. This should lead to even better results of the campaign and experiences for the students. In addition, the OMC brings the Saxon creative industry together with possible clients from the Saxon economy. For the challenge, we are therefore looking for online marketing professionals from Saxony who will provide the teams from medium-sized companies and students with a conceptual and daily rate of 500 EUR. The professionals of the three best teams receive an additional daily rate for the final coaching of the students.
