The people of Prague entered the traditional tournament with a 3:2 victory over the Canadian team on Monday, in which captain Michal Řepík contributed two goals.
Czech striker Matěj Stránský, who is the team’s most productive player in the Swiss league with 16 goals and eight assists in 31 games, will also face Sparta in a Davos shirt.
The two teams met in August at the preparatory tournament in Bratislava, and Davos clearly won 6:1.
