Welcome to watch the online text broadcast, which will be dedicated to the draw of the basic groups of the European League.
Unfortunately, the champion Slovan Bratislava did not manage the last step since advancing to the EL group yesterday, and after losing 3: 0 and a home draw 2: 2 with the Greek Olympiakos, the whites will “only” play in the European Conference League. However, fans from the Czech Republic will get their money’s worth, because Sparta Prague will present itself in the basic group. Of the Slovaks, Stanislav Lobotka from Naples or Dávid Hancko from the aforementioned Sparta will play in the second most prestigious European club competition.
A total of 32 teams will present themselves in the European League. In a slightly modified format, the winners of the eight groups advance directly to the round of 16. The other teams will compete with the teams that will end up in third place in the Champions League in their group. The same fate will befall third teams in the EL groups, which will continue in the newly created European Conference League.
