Rieke C. Harmsen is part of a cohort of 21 global executives who will be exploring innovation, change management and the future of journalism starting in September. “We want to inspire, nurture and empower leaders in our ever-evolving industry,” said Program Director Niketa Patel in her announcement on LinkedIn’s professional network. The diversity and globality of the participants speak for their competence as actors to accompany the change in journalism. The journalists come from Canada, China, Cuba, Finland, Germany, Japan, Romania, South Africa, Great Britain and the United States.

The scholarship for executives from the media is funded by Media Lab Bayern. This is intended to promote sustainable innovations.
