Free workshops for start-ups: The founding academy is starting again.
The City of Graz would like to strengthen the start-up location this year too, so the start-up academy launched last year is entering its second round. Twelve free online workshops are planned to support young companies in all facets around the topics of digital work and online marketing.
The department responsible for economic and tourism development is focusing on the topic of “digital trends” this year. The starting shot will be given on February 2nd with a workshop on the subject of “Kickstart for your digital product”. The focus is on digital product development, from idea tests, prototypes, design, project management to development tips.
Exciting topics are waiting
The speaker is Christian Haintz, the CTO of Carrot & Company, who wants to give the participants not only his expertise, but also best practice examples and further tips. No prior knowledge is necessary. It is only important that the participating entrepreneurs have their headquarters in Graz and that they were founded no more than five years ago. Registration under www.wirtschaft.graz.at is now possible. In the further course of the year the topics “Video creation made easy”, “How to podcast” or “Performance Marketing” will be dealt with.
“The success of the founding academy in the past year has shown that the format hit the bull’s eye with compact and practice-oriented knowledge impulses,” said economic advisor and mayor Siegfried Nagl, looking forward to the continuation in 2021.
