Online commerce, after lockdown still growing up to 79%

According to data provided by Netcomm the volume of transactions increased by 79%. Overall, in the last twelve months (therefore also before the lockdown) it has grown by 15.4 with about half only during forced closures.

But this increase did register problems too such as those related to logistics and the shortage of products when the demand soared and it was not always possible to deliver the goods as in pre-Covid times.

Online commerce, the new consumer habits

But the data to be highlighted is the tendency to continue shopping online even after the lockdown in short, when it was no longer so necessary. But going back to the past was an option discarded by many, especially those who bought digitally for the first time during that time. Still according to the data provided by Netcomm, 42% of consumers still believe that online prices are higher while in April this opinion was 28%.
