OPPO is reportedly working on a next-generation Find series flagship smartphone which is expected to be officially launched sometime in February or March of next year. However, it hasn’t been announced yet, some details regarding the device have been leaked on the internet.
It is @OnLeaks who returns to share the processed rendering. Yes! He shared a render of the OPPO Find X5 Pro device. It’s the same device that’s expected to launch as the Find X4 Pro, but OPPO doesn’t look like it’ll be sporting the number “4”. The reason behind this is likely that the number 4 is considered unlucky in Chinese culture.
The renders shared by @OnLeaks show that the device will have a camera module similar to the one we’ve seen on the Find X3 Pro. However, this time around, OPPO seems to have adopted an irregular trapezoidal shape for its camera module instead of a square.
However, overall, OPPO still uses the same design language for the back shell of the device. OPPO designed it so smoothly extending to the convex part of the camera module. One major difference is that the back panel now has a sandblasted texture instead of the glass design of its predecessor.
Meanwhile, on the front side, this device will have a punch-hole in the upper left corner of the screen to house the front-facing camera. Renders shared by @OnLeaks also show very thin bezels surrounding the screen, hinting at a higher screen-to-body ratio.
The volume buttons are located on the left side of the frame, while the power button is on the right frame. As for the specifications in the body, it is said that OPPO will embed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chipset. Another leak states that the OPPO Find X5 Pro will have a 6.78-inch FullHD + screen.
For the camera sector, maybe OPPO will load a 50 MP main sensor as the main camera, accompanied by a 50 MP ultra-wide lens and a 13 MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile, on the front side, OPPO will load a selfie camera with a sensor that is not kidding, which is 32 MP.
Finally, regarding the power supply, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is likely to be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support which is still unknown. Along with the presence of the Find X5 Pro, OPPO is also expected to launch the Find X5, which is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. What do you think?
