ONI: Road to be the Mightiest Oni: confirmed what it will appear for

The two publishers, Clouded Leopard Entertainment and Shueisha Games, announced where we will be looking for Kenei Design’s game.

First, let’s start with the Oni crew from ONI: Road to be the Mightiest. The director, art director and designer Hayama Kenei (who named the studio after himself), the producer Yamamoto Masami, the programmer Muraishi Shusuke, the animations are put together by Tokumori Kenji, the game design is by Sugano Yuzo, and the characters are by Matsuura Satoshi stands, while the music is created by Yanagi Hiromi.

In this three-dimensional action game, we must break the heart of our opponent to regain our pride. Kuuta, a demon, was challenged by a man who eventually defeated him. He arrives at Kisejima Island, where he runs into his partner, Kazemaru. Kuuta and Kazemaru grow stronger along the way, but it is questionable whether they will achieve victory, but Kuuta’s goal throughout the adventure will be to defeat Momotaro. It was this demon who defeated Kuuta by assuming a male body.

Clouded Leopard Entertainment’s announcement also spoke about Kenei Design: Kenei previously worked at Mistwalker (this studio is known for Terra Battle or Fantasian) as an art designer, but decided to go independent. Once you’ve assembled a team to create your own style of play. His design skills then caught the attention of the Shueisha Game Creators Camp staff, so they chose ONI.

Yamamoto joined as a producer: he previously worked on Let’s Play Games! 2006 and PlayStation CAMP entrant selection jury supervisor, and has worked on several unique projects (Tokyo Jungle being a prime example, not to mention the What Did I Do To Deserve This, My Lord? series). He then created his own company (EPIGRAsm Inc.) and Hayama offered him the position of producer, while also working as a consultant in charge of Shueisha Game Creators Camp, which seeks new challenges among indie games.

Given Yamamoto’s background, it’s no wonder that the game (which will be released this year) is coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Let’s not neglect the Japanese indies either…
