Today, the OnePlus brand introduced the new flagship smartphones of the OnePlus 9 series and added its first ever on top smart watch. This accessory has been speculated about for several years, but only now is the time to discover it. What skills does the OnePlus Watch try to attract people?
OnePlus Watch: measures your health, sports activity and sleep
The OnePlus Watch just introduced is a watch with a circular display and a sporty look. The manufacturer does not try to make an imitation of Swiss chronographs from them, which underlines both the sporty design of the dials and the rubber straps, which are clamped into the metal body of the watch with a classic spindle. The body of the watch is made of stainless steel, its diameter is 46 mm, OLED display has a diagonal of 1.39 “and a curved glass.
The watch runs on its own platform from OnePlus, so you do not have to install any applications on it and you have to come to terms with what the manufacturer has given you. But the equipment is not bad at all, the watch can monitor:
- health – thanks to the heart rate sensor and blood saturation sensor, there is also stress detection, breathing training or warnings for sitting too long
- sports activity – the watch has a built-in GPS, so it will please runners and cyclists. Thanks to the resistance of IP68 and ATM5, there is also swimming, including the evaluation of the SWOLF score. A total of 110 types of sports activities are supported, running is evaluated automatically.

OnePlus Watch can also notify incoming and missed events, make and receive calls, and even play music through a Bluetooth headset; they contain internal 4GB memory, while 2 GB of it can be used for your own needs. In addition to the standard equipment, the watch can remotely control the TV, unfortunately only from the same brand, which is not sold in our country.
OnePlus Watch impresses with endurance – to be able to operate for 14 days on a single charge, thanks to the quick charger it is possible to replenish their energy in just 20 minutes; 5 minutes of charging is enough for all-day endurance. The battery in the body of the watch has a capacity of 402 mAh.
Price and availability
The OnePlus Watch will be available in black and silver, and a special Cobalt Limited Edition with a sapphire crystal and a cobalt alloy body will also go on sale. We do not know the price of the watch yet, we should learn more about availability in Europe in the coming weeks.
