In light of the current situation, we now offer a lifetime warranty on the screens of all affected devices. Thank you for understanding and support”.
OnePlus also clarified that the lifetime screen warranty applies to any OnePlus phone affected by the green line issue in India, not just individual devices.
The company is offering those hit by the Green Line significant discounts on smartphone upgrades. OnePlus is offering OnePlus 8 Pro, 8T, 9 and 9R owners with a screen defect a discount voucher to purchase a new OnePlus.
Replacement devices must only be purchased through the OnePlus India website, not from other stores. In addition, buyers have an incentive to opt for the India-exclusive OnePlus 10R – the company is offering an additional discount on them.
