Now OnePlus has presented its latest and long-awaited mobile in the middle class, OnePlus Nord 2, but the company has really spent the last few weeks announcing the mobile, with a steady flow of announcements that ensured that there were not a huge amount of new things to unveil at the official launch.
But what is presented still sounds promising. OnePlus Nord 2 has a 6.43-inch 1080 x 2400 AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, while there is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI chipset on the inside, which the company claims offers 65% faster CPU performance and 125% better GPU performance than the original OnePlus Nord.
On the camera front, there is a main camera of 50 MP and f / 1.88 (which you also find on the OnePlus 9 series), combined with an ultra-wide angle camera of 8 MP and f / 2.25, a mono camera of 2 MP and f / 2.5 and a selfie camera of 32 MP and f / 2.45. Video can be recorded in up to 4K quality at 30 frames per second, and OnePlus also claims that they have improved the night mode on the camera, so you can get useful images even when it is really dark.
Fast charging and a price in the middle class
As for the battery, it is 4500 mAh and it supports fast charging of 65 W, which OnePlus says is fast enough to get Nord 2 from 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes.
To round off the specifications, there is an in-screen fingerprint reader, dual stereo speakers, 5G support and Android 11 – with a promise of two major operating system updates and three years of security updates.
In Sweden, OnePlus Nord 2 will go on sale on July 28 and will be available at the usual Swedish retailers such as Dustin, NetOnNet, Webhallen and Elgiganten and more. The basic model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will cost around SEK 4,500, while the model with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will cost around SEK 5,300.
In terms of color options, you will be able to choose between Gray Sierra, Blue Haze and Green Wood.
