Jakarta, Selular.ID – Ahead of its launch the day after tomorrow, the latest leaks are back on the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone. Reportedly, the Nord 2 5G series will release a red color variant. This was conveyed directly by a well-known leaker named Evan Blass, through his Twitter page, on Monday (19/7/2021).
Not much was disclosed by Evan through his upload, other than only the original photo of the red smartphone along with a caption indicating that it was the appearance of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. If you look back, the last OnePlus phone wrapped in a touch of red was the OnePlus 7 series which was announced in 2019.
With the leak of this red color variant, it can be concluded that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be available in four colors, namely Sierra Gray, Blue Haze, Green Woods, and Red. As previously leaked.
Then, it is said that, for the Green Woods color variant, it will reportedly be available on a limited basis in the 12GB RAM + 256GB version. Regarding the other color variants, it is still unknown whether it will also have limitations in its availability. We’ll just have to wait for the final decision at the launch event the day after tomorrow.

Regarding the specifications, this smartphone is allegedly going to come powered by the Dimensity 1200-AI chipset, which is the first MediaTek processor to appear on OnePlus phones. It is also said that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will pack a 90Hz AMOLED display, also equipped with three rear cameras.
In terms of power, this handset will be supported by a 4500mAh battery, which is supported by 65W fast charging. OnePlus has also revealed that the new device will run Android 11 out of the box, and will get two major OS updates and three years of security updates.
