Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 11. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus 10 Pro, the phone will be released for the first time in China. A release in Europe will probably only follow in a few months.

OnePlus 11 will go on sale in China next week, says OnePlus. The phone has an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.7 “and a resolution of 3216×1440 pixels, which can be refreshed with a frequency of up to 120Hz. This is an LTPO 3.0 screen, the manufacturer claims.

The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-soc, assisted by 12GB or 16GB of Lpddr5x memory and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone has a 5000mAh battery, which can be charged wired with 100W. The manufacturer does not say whether the phone can be charged wirelessly. The manufacturer provides the 100W adapter separately and users need to pay for it.

The main camera has a 50 megapixel sensor in the form of Sony IMX890. This is a sensor of approximately 50 square millimeters with an optical size of 1/1.56″ and pixel size of 1 micron. The ultra wide angle lens camera has an IMX581 sensor of approximately 30 square millimeters and an optical size of 1/2″. The telephoto camera is a Sony IMX709, which offers 2x magnification and also has an rgbw sensor with an extra white sub-pixel to capture more light.

The OnePlus 11 has an alert slider, unlike the OnePlus 10T. The phone will be released in China at 3999 yuan in the cheapest version, currently around 550 euros. Phones are usually much more expensive when released in Europe due to import costs and VAT.
