After several days of rumors and leaks, the OnePlus Ace is now official. The company confirmed that the phone will be released in China on April 21, with the equipment expected to reach other countries, possibly as the OnePlus 10R, as has been said.
Along with the release date, OnePlus also published an image of Ace, which correspond to leaks that have been released and pointed to the OnePlus 10R smartphone. It is interesting that in terms of design the equipment differs a little from the other equipment of the brand.
The phone has a dual texture design on the back panel. One side has stripes, while the other has a smooth finish. It looks like a plastic rear end, but we could be wrong. We previously expected the OnePlus to incorporate a metallic finish, but that may not be the case, looking at these sharper images shared by the company.
Aside from its unique back panel, the phone looks a lot like the Realme GT Neo 3. OnePlus has also confirmed that it will have matching specs, including 150W charging and the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip, which are pretty cool specs for this device.
The company says it adopted the name of its new series to see if it can make better products than those available on the market. According to the brand, the Ace lineup (yes, there will be more Ace-branded OnePlus phones in the future) will focus on high-end textured designs, reliable quality, and strong performance. Therefore, it is confirmed that we are facing a new line of smartphones.
Meanwhile, OnePlus also has an India launch scheduled for April 28, which the company can also take advantage of to announce the availability of this OnePlus Ace, or OnePlus 10R for India.
