OnePlus Ace gets Racing Edition for greater gaming appeal

After announcing the OnePlus Ace Last month, OnePlus has now announced the OnePlus Ace Race Edition that receives the same MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX processor, but changes several specifications to arrive with a somewhat lower starting price and thus become more accessible for those who want a spiky device above all.

For starters, you can notice that the design is significantly different, which immediately reveals a change in terms of the cameras that are now a 64MP unit, an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a macro sensor. In other words, a perfectly banal setup.

Ahead, where we find a selfie of 16MP, the display is now a 6.59″ LCD, instead of the OnePlus Ace AMOLED, although it keeps the 120Hz refresh rate configurable in steps from 30Hz to 120Hz, with 100% of the DCI-P3 space. It also drops the touch sampling rate from 720Hz to 240Hz.

Finally, the battery maintains the 5000mAh, but the charging drops to 67W, which is still very interesting and reaches an 80% charge in 29 minutes.

Leaving the main features of the hardware, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition has some interesting features, such as stereo speakers with Dirac support, but also an audio jack. At the same time, a partnership was made to emulate the sensation of using a BlackWidow or a BlackWidow from Razer, with a linear engine simulating (or trying to) the pressing of the keys of these keyboards.

We do not know at this time if the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will be available internationally, where it would be a version of the already released OnePlus 10R.
