OnePlus has already accustomed us in the past to that its smartphone presentations were just mere formalities, and are usually just revelations of official prices and availability of equipment.
The launch of OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Watch will take place on March 23, and it will not be different from what we saw in the past. The various leaks of information, and even the brand itself, have already revealed most of the characteristics of the products or their design.
The big banner of the OnePlus 9 Pro will be photographic quality. To this end, OnePlus entered into a partnership with camera manufacturer Hasselblad, and in another official video the brand even mentions that it wants to raise the level of OnePlus cameras to something professional.
“Professional photography experience in your pocket” is the goal of OnePlus
In the second episode of the series “Behind the Lens”, we have some of the executives at OnePlus talking about the production and challenges of these cameras. Xi Zeng, the company’s creative product director, even says that the goal is to take a “professional photography experience in your pocket”.
Focused on delivering the best experience to users, OnePlus will have been very concerned with finding the best possible “color accuracy”. Helping the user to “tell a better story” is the main goal.
Remember that both the main and ultrawide cameras of the OnePlus 9 Pro will use the Sony IMX789 sensor. It will be interesting to see how far the terminal will really be able to stand out among other competitors. In the video below you can also see the first episode of the Behind The Lens series.
