OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the company’s upcoming phones – OnePlus 9, 9 Pro and 9E – will have the included charger.
A year ago, this might not have been big news, but after both Apple and Samsung recently decided to stop including chargers in the box with their flagship devices (a trend that seems to continue), the announcement of it opposite from OnePlus a breath of fresh air.
The charger in question (all OnePlus 9 models come with the same charger) is the company’s extremely fast Warp Charge 65 variant, the same one you got if you bought a OnePlus 8T.
Lau’s comments were to be found along with the first official teaser snippet posted on OnePlus’ official Twitter account.
In the short clip, you get a tiny look at the upper half of the 9 Pro, which includes four separate cameras as well as the Hasselblad logo, which comes as no surprise, after OnePlus announced a partnership with the Swedish camera manufacturer.
It all begins with a simple thought. Discover the #OnePlus9Series, co-developed with Hasselblad, on March 23.Get notified: https://t.co/8HQZu9LLbl pic.twitter.com/fIajmlM2LgMarch 8, 2021

Forward March
The teaser ends with a confirmation of the launch date of the OnePlus 9 series.
The company is planning an official unveiling of the new smartphones at 15:00 on March 23, via an online event on The OnePlus website.
There is admittedly not much left to reveal, since a lot of the information about the phones has already found its way to the airwaves, and we have got a pretty complete picture of the three upcoming devices.
