OnePlus 8T gets virtual launch through OnePlus World

A 360-degree, virtual world for the global community to attend the launch of the OnePlus 8T and much more.

“Made to be experienced” was stated on our invitation to the launch of the OnePlus Nord in July. OnePlus then opted for a launch using Augmented Reality. That was quite an experience, but OnePlus wants to do even better for the OnePlus 8T and therefore developed OnePlus World. It’s a 360-degree, interactive world with different activities leading up to the official launch of their new flagship smartphone on October 14.

OnePlus games and history lessons

OnePlus World can be discovered with your self-developed avatar and there is a lot to experience. In the game zone you can play the game Warp, a multiplayer game in which you travel at high speed through the characteristic red cable and have to collect warp crystals and points. In the Hz game you then go hunting for Hz crystals, ranging from 60 Hz and 90 Hz to (How could it be different) 120 Hz. The more of these crystals you collect, the faster your speed. A scoreboard with nice OnePlus prices provides a competitive element.

There is also a # ShotOnOnePlus gallery with the most beautiful photos of other Oneplussers and a museum that shows the history of the devices, starting with the story of the OnePlus One.

Virtual 8T launch party

You can follow the launch of the OnePlus 8T on October 14 live from the auditorium or you can create a private room and invite your friends to watch the live stream together via voice chat. In the Ultra Store you can then unbox the OnePlus 8T and purchase a pop-up bundle.

The OnePlus 8T will be officially launched on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 4 p.m. The launch can be followed on the OnePlus YouTube channel and through the OnePlus World experience.

You can register for OnePlus World via www.theoneplusworld.com.
