OnePlus 12R: New Smartphone to be Announced on January 23 with Specs and Colors Revealed

Promotional material of the OnePlus 12R has surfaced. This shows that the upcoming smartphone will be offered in gray and blue color. The smartphone will be announced on January 23.

X user Ishan Agarwal shared both an image and a short video mentioning the smartphone. However, that footage does not contain any specifications or prices.

From previous rumors from another X user it turns out that the OnePlus 12R has a 6.78″ display, with a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. The smartphone would run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and would come with 8GB or 16GB of RAM, depending on which version is purchased. The OnePlus 12R would have a battery with a capacity of 5500mAh, which can also fast charge at 100W. According to rumors, the device would have three cameras at the rear: a 50-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel camera that can take ultrawide images and a camera that can shoot 2-megapixel macro photos.
