The OnePlus 10 Pro was introduced in January of this year in China and only recently arrived in global markets. Therefore, only now have DxOMark experts been able to make their assessment of this top-of-the-range camera.
The results of this analysis are far from what would be desirable for a top of the range launched in the middle of 2022. In fact, we can say that it was not yet with the OnePlus 10 Pro that the Chinese brand asserted itself in the photographic department.
OnePlus 10 Pro ranks 27th in the DxOMark ranking
The analysis developed by DxOMark’s experts gave a final score of 127 points to the OnePlus 10 Pro. With this result, the new top of the range of the Chinese brand reaches only the 27th position in the hierarchy of this entity.
This result puts the OnePlus 10 Pro behind devices such as the iPhone 12 or, more blatantly, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra launched in 2020. Compared to the OnePlus 9 Pro, we have a marginal evolution of only 3 points.
Positives of the OnePlus 10 Pro camera

- good detail
- little noise
- Precise object isolation in mode bokeh
- Good exposure and detail in night portrait mode
- Good exposure preview, smooth zoom in preview
- Good telephoto lens detail with good brightness and medium indoors and long range

OnePlus 10 Pro camera negatives
- Pink color and tone artifacts, especially in low light
- Unnatural rendering of details on faces
- Ghosting and fusion artifacts
- Lots of noise and luminance in photos without flash
- Lower dynamic range in preview than capture
- Noise and lack of detail in the wide-angle camera
- Lack of detail in video with good brightness

These points prove that there is still a lot to improve in the performance of the OnePlus 10 Pro camera. Although this set may be sufficient for most users, it will not be the most assertive choice for more demanding users.
