Mšeno One woman died early Thursday morning in a fire in a nursing home in Mšen in the Mělník region. An injured nurse was taken to hospital by an ambulance. Firefighters evacuated 74 clients, of whom about 18 people will not be able to return to their rooms on Thursday. Investigators ruled out foreign fault as the cause of the fire, the fire was caused by negligence or a technical defect.
The damage was estimated at one million crowns, said Jaroslav Gabriel, a spokesman for Central Bohemian firefighters. According to police twitter, three other people were treated on the spot.

A post-traumatic care team was called. The fire investigation continues, according to Gabriel, waiting for the interrogation of an injured investigator, among other things, as soon as her health condition allows.
Before 5:00, firefighters set out for a fire that hit the top, fourth floor of the building. He completely destroyed one of the rooms. The fire was completely extinguished before 7:00. Clients from the affected floor were transported to the Mladá Boleslav, Mělník and Mnichovo Hradiště hospitals. Relatives of other seniors gradually come to Mšen and, if they can, take them temporarily home.
The Mšenský home for the elderly is housed in a modern building built in 2003. It has a capacity of 83 beds.
Currently, clients were transported from the affected floor to the hospitals Mladá Boleslav, Mnichovo Hradiště and Mělník. Relatives of other seniors commute to the place and, if possible, take them temporarily home.
