Enforcement of one-way system or one way on Jalan Daan Mogot, Tangerang City, came into force today. Motorists in Tangerang City and its surroundings cannot cross Jl Daan Mogot to go to Jakarta.
Head of the Tangerang City Transportation Agency (Kadishub), Wahyudi Iskandar, stated that this application was only a simulation that would be implemented for the next one month. According to him, this traffic engineering was carried out to overcome the density around Jl Daan Mogot.
“Until 1 month, we will continue to evaluate until we meet habit or habitual travel habits of the people. That’s right (to avoid overcrowding),” Wahyudi told reporters, Sunday (2/20/2022).
“In principle, it is one-way on the Daan Mogot route, then on Jalan Bouraq. All circulation is one-way,” he continued.
Wahyudi hopes that this engineering simulation will allow people to get used to it and at the same time make the vehicle density points break down. This simulation applies to vehicles passing from Jakarta to Tangerang or vice versa.
“Well, this is a new scheme that hopefully can be completed in some accesses where there are corrections for very dense vehicle crossings. From Jakarta to Tangerang and vice versa, we apply simulations, for moving one lane from all phases of the lane being traversed. ,” said Wahyudi.
The following is traffic engineering on Jalan Daan Mogot, Tangerang City:
1. Vehicles from Jalan Daan Mogot towards Jakarta
-Going to the Daan Mogot Toll Road, you can immediately turn left onto the toll road
-Towards Bouraq Street, turn right using Mookevart Bridge 2
-Towards Jalan Sudirman take the leftmost lane to be able to turn left onto that road
-Towards Jalan TMP Taruna take the left lane after the traffic light, then the driver immediately turns left onto Jalan TMP Taruna.
2. Vehicles from the direction of Development Road 3
-Towards Jakarta, turn left onto Jalan Bouraq following the traffic signs
-Towards Jalan TMP Taruna or Jalan Sudirman, turn left onto Jalan Bouraq then turn back on the Mookevart 2 Bridge to Jalan Daan Mogot
-Toll Daan Mogot, turn left onto Jalan Bouraq. Then the driver turns back at the meeting point between Bouraq road and Daan Mogot road (for small vehicles only), while for large vehicles they can turn around in the next round.
3. Vehicles from the direction of the Daan Mogot Toll Road
-Towards TMP Taruna road, you can turn left onto Jalan Daan Mogot taking the far right lane
-Towards Soekarno-Hatta Airport, turn left onto Jalan Daan Mogot. After the traffic light, the driver takes the rightmost lane. Then, the driver turns right using Mookevart Bridge 1 onto Bouraq Road and turns left on Jalan Pembangunan 3
-Towards Jakarta, turn left onto Jalan Daan Mogot. The driver then takes the rightmost lane to be able to turn right using Mookevart Bridge 2 to Bouraq Street. The driver then went straight to Jalan Daan Mogot.
4. Vehicles from the direction of Jalan Sitanala Neglasari
-To Jakarta, you can go straight along Jalan Bouraq to Jalan Daan Mogot
-Towards Soekarno-Hatta Airport, you can go straight to Jalan Bouraq. Then, the driver turns left onto Development Road 3
-Towards Jalan TMP Taruna or Jalan Sudirman, go straight to Jalan Bouraq, then turn back via Mookevart Bridge 1 to Jalan Daan Mogot. Then, the driver turns left onto Jalan TMP Taruna following the traffic light
-Going to the Daan Mogot Toll Road, you can go straight along Jalan Bouraq to Jalan Daan Mogot. The driver then turns back at the meeting point between Jalan Bouraq and Jalan Daan Mogot (for small vehicles only), while for large vehicles, they can turn around in the next round.
5. Vehicles from Jalan Jend Sudirman
-Towards Jalan TMP Taruna, turn left onto Jalan Daan Mogot. The driver then turns left onto Jalan TMP Taruna using the leftmost lane
-Towards Soetta Airport after the traffic lights, turn left onto Jalan Daan Mogot, take the far right lane. Drivers then turn right using Mookevart Bridge 1 onto Bouraq Street. The driver then turns left on Construction road 3
-Towards Jakarta, after the traffic lights, you can turn left onto Jalan Daan Mogot, take the far right lane. The driver then turns right using the Mookevart 1 Bridge to Jalan Bouraq and then goes straight to Jalan Daan Mogot
-Head to the Daan Mogot Toll Road after the traffic lights can turn left onto Jalan Daan Mogot, take the far right lane. The driver then turns right using Mookevart Bridge 1 onto Bouraq Road and turns back at the confluence of Bouraq Road and Daan Mogot Road.
6. Vehicles from the sluice gate
-Towards Jakarta, you can turn left via the bridge. The driver then turned right onto Bouraq Street. The driver then goes straight to Jalan Daan Mogot
-Towards Soetta Airport, you can turn left via the bridge. The driver then turns right onto Bouraq Road, then turns left onto Jalan Pembangunan 3
-Towards Jalan TMP Taruna or Jalan Sudirman, turn right onto Jalan TMP Taruna after the traffic lights
-To the Daan Mogot Toll Road, you can turn left via the bridge. The driver then turned right onto Bouraq road. Then, the driver will go straight to Jalan Daan Mogot and turn around at the confluence between Jalan Bouraq and Jalan Daan Mogot (for small vehicles only), while for large vehicles, they can turn around at the front of the mosque.
