Some villagers, especially in Albertacce, claim to have gone 16 hours without electricity. Unlivable, unbearable. The last year-round residents in these mid-mountain villages will not spend one more winter in these remote towns. It is a bit of a season for them. Some have promised it, they will reach the city very soon after a lifetime in the village. The difficult living conditions will certainly not solve the problems of rural desertification.
