Not only admiring Haaland’s quality on the pitch, Guardiola was also impressed by the attitude of his new player. Guardiola called Haaland so humble and not stingy to share knowledge with young players.
“He is a special player,” said Guardiola as reported by the club’s official website.
“No need to tell me, everyone knows that, but we’ve only been together a few times. He’s a great competitor and wants to win.”
“What impressed me the most was that he was a very humble person for a person who had a very good education, how often he spoke with young players, not just the important players we had.”
“He has adjusted well,” Guardiola said of Erling Haaland.
