One sentence made the Survivor contestant break down in tears –

Rita Niemi-Manninen gets a reminder of her home conditions.

Survivors Finland In Sunday’s episode of the program, a camp is built for a new tribe. The contestants cook food for their tribe until Rita Niemi-Manninen receives a wish from her contestant on the anniversary.

– Sita (Salminen) suddenly said, when we were cooking, “Happy Mother’s Day, Rita”, Rita tells the cameras.

– Happy Mother’s Day, other members of the tribe also wish in chorus.

Rita immediately bursts into tears.

– I had already been thinking about it to myself for a few hours, but I didn’t bother to bring it up. I thought that there are no other mother people here, so I just keep quiet, says Rita.

Rita spends her first Mother’s Day away from her daughter Donna on the set of the show. The competition partners try to comfort the homesick Rita, and think about how to celebrate Mother’s Day at the Manninen home.

– I’m pretty sure that Donna and Aki (hold a party and they have an altar with a picture of your face, Viivi Altonen estimates.

– When I left here, I decided not to let it enter my thoughts. It would start to feel uncomfortable every day. Home is waiting there and I know that everything is fine with them, Rita reflects.
