At 00.15 on Friday night, the police were notified of stabbing in Greenland in Oslo.
– We are in an acute phase yet, says operations manager Line Skott to TV 2.
A man in his 20s has been transported to the hospital after the incident. The extent of the damage is unknown, but he must have been conscious all the way to the hospital, the police say.
Several witnesses are said to have seen the incident and persons the police believe are relevant and may have been connected to the case have been arrested.
– There are somewhat divergent explanations about the number of perpetrators. Everything from three to more, says Skott.
She hopes they get more information eventually.
– We review material from camera surveillance that may have captured the incident.
The police have not had the opportunity to question the victim yet.
