– No one has been arrested and charged at the present time, but we do not rule out that more people may be suspected, nor do we rule out that there may be charges, says investigation manager Hans-Christian Hetland.

Armed police went out to Hana in Sandnes on Sunday, following a report of a stabbing in a private house.
A man in his 30s was taken to Stavanger University Hospital with serious injuries, the police said in a press release at 4pm on Sunday.
The police received a report about the incident at 2.15pm on Sunday.
– We are investigating, but the background for the stabbing is unknown, Hetland told VG on Monday morning.
He states that it is unknown whether the victim was stabbed in his own home.
Not questioned
The offended man in his 30s has not yet been questioned.
– We will implement this as soon as his state of health permits, said police attorney Cathrine Monsen earlier on Monday.
– We have interviewed several witnesses, but no witnesses to the incident itself. We continue with more witness interviews today, says Hetland.
He tells VG that the police are currently primarily trying to shed light on the case through questioning.
The police have been to the scene and made inquiries in the area of Hana.
Internal environment
The police continue with tactical and technical investigations, as well as intelligence, with the aim of apprehending the perpetrator(s).
Information in the case indicates that this is a serious incident within an environment, the police say.
– I don’t want to say anything about this environment, other than that it is a criminal environment, says the head of the investigation.
Hetland emphasizes that it is still early in the investigation, and that they are currently working on the assumption that there is only one suspect.
The police are asking people who may have information in the case to get in touch.
