Alvear was photographed wearing pants with the American flag and allegedly smoking marijuana during the riot that broke into the Capitol in the middle of the certification of the results of the 2020 presidential elections, collects the documentation presented by prosecutors.

In addition, in the documentation presented by the prosecutors, the accused appears in a video that he recorded himself and in which he says “we are recovering our country.” “Yes, this is the most protected building,” Alvear said as he laughed and walked inside the Capitol, according to the complaint.

In the documents presented in the prosecution’s trial, it is explained that the FBI investigators reviewed multiple videos from the social networks YouTube and Snapchat to identify Alvear and reconstruct his movements.

Prosecutors said a YouTube video titled “The Capitol Rotunda Doobie Smoker explains why he did it” appears Alvear saying he lit a cigarette in the Capitol for “freedom.”

Additionally, the documentation has alleged that Alvear had rented an Airbnb in Washington recently.
