In February 2020, only 15 people became owners of new passenger electric cars in Russia (in February 2019 there were 26 of them). One of the electric cars went to Kamchatka.

According to the analytical agency Avtostat, sales of electric cars in our country are single in nature and at this stage show a decline. According to the results of February, the dynamics is negative (-42.3%), according to the results of two months from the beginning of the year, the situation is slightly better (-27.7%).

“Of the electric cars purchased in February, six belonged to the Tesla brand, four to Jaguar and Nissan, one to the Hyundai brand. As for the model range, the Nissan Palm and Jaguar I-Pace, which sold four copies each, were divided among themselves by the number of cars purchased. Last month, the Russians also bought three Tesla X and Tesla Model 3 cars, and Hyundai Ioniq was bought in a single copy, ”Autostat noted.

The agency added that six new electric cars were purchased in Moscow, the remaining nine (one per region) went to Kamchatka, to Perm, Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, Bashkortostan, Sverdlovsk, Tambov, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk Regions.
