One of Bulgaria’s longest cities will now be directly connected to Plovdiv by bus line.

The Gabrovo Municipality’s proposal to open a Gabrovo-Plovdiv-Gabrovo bus line was unanimously accepted at a regular meeting of the Regional Transport Commission with chairman Andrey Nikolov, deputy regional governor of Gabrovo, reports the press center of the Regional Administration – Gabrovo.

The commission has accepted a proposal to open the direct bus line, which is part of the Republican transport scheme from the quota of the municipality of Gabrovo. The bus line has already passed a reconciliation procedure by the mayor of the Plovdiv Municipality and the regional governor of the Plovdiv region.

The schedule of the line will be with the departure of the buses at 6:30 a.m. from Gabrovo and arrival at 9:00 a.m. in Plovdiv and departure from Plovdiv at 5:30 p.m. and arrival in Gabrovo at 8:00 p.m., adds the administration .

The next stage for the opening of the bus line is for it to be approved by the Minister of Transport and Communications, after a motivated proposal sent to him by the regional governor of Gabrovo.

Gabrovo is one of the longest cities in Bulgaria with its 25 km from the Yablka quarter to the Smirnenski dam.
