On the well-known advertising portal Mobile.de, we came across a “one-of-a-kind” Škoda Octavia from 2000, which has traveled less than 40,000 kilometers in its more than 23 years of life to date.
The seller gives the number 36,950 in the offer, such a portion of kilometers is really unusually low for a first generation Octavia.
The silver liftback should currently be with the third owner, who highlights in the ad that the previous owners were of an advanced age. And they also claim that the car has mostly driven longer distances in recent years and that it has always been well serviced.
You will probably not be surprised that the seller promises good condition of the exterior and interior. The truth is that, at least in the photos, the Škoda really looks well-preserved, although we can see minor signs of use, especially in the cabin.
Equipment includes electrically operated windows, an on-board computer, a modern radio with DAB, Bluetooth and USB, a JBL audio system, a towing device or electrically adjustable mirrors.
Another point of interest concerns the motorization. The engine is powered by a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that provides a maximum output of 74 kW and a maximum torque of 145 Nm. So there is nothing very special about it, but the gearbox is unusual.

This piece is equipped with an automatic, which is quite rare in the case of the first generation Octavia. Specifically, it is an automatic cabinet with four stages. Liftback with this motorization, for the sake of interest, drives 190 km/h and accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 13.8 seconds.
A one-of-a-kind “octave” with a low mileage and an unusual motorization is for sale in Stadthagen, Germany, the price is 4,999 euros, which is about 120,000 crowns.
