One mosquito bite proves fatal for a 21-year-old young woman

21-year-old Oriana Pepper wanted to become an airplane pilot. She was on her way to EasyJet pilot training in Belgium when the fatal incident took place, which suddenly took the young girl’s life, The Sun reports.

Last July, Oriana was bitten by a mosquito above her right eyebrow during training.

She developed a serious infection.

The girl was taken to the hospital on July 7 with a very swollen forehead. Doctors prescribed her antibiotics and told her to go home. Two days later, the girl returned to the hospital because she got sick at home. Just six days after her first hospital visit, on July 12, the girl died of a fatal infection caused by a mosquito bite.

Investigators admit that Oriana died of serious infections.

Meanwhile, an autopsy revealed that the 21-year-old woman died of a septic embolus, the infection having spread to her brain.
