One million riyals, the value of complaints a week • Al-Marsad newspaper

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Technical expert “Bassam Al-Saif” revealed how the scammer used a Saudi mobile phone number while out of the Kingdom and explained the value of the complaints he receives for e-fraud.

He said during an interview on Gulf Rotana’s “Yahla” show, “He gets complaints from different people who say they’ve been the target of scams and scams, and the amounts vary from person to person, bringing the total to a million of riyals per week”. Noting that the last person who contacted him told him that he stole 400 thousand, which he had collected over the years, and lost it in a few minutes.

In the same context, he revealed how the scammer used a Saudi cell phone number while outside the Kingdom. She explained that there are voice programs where you can subscribe to give Saudi numbers and communication can be done via computer, not via telephone.
