One in three Belgians has now been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. That is what the most recent figures from health institute Sciensano, which date from Saturday. As announced, there will no longer be an update of the corona figures on Sundays and Mondays.

The dashboard does indicate the progress of the vaccination campaign. A total of 6,905,604 people in our country received at least one dose, which corresponds to 59.9 percent of the total population and 74.5 percent of the over 18s. In Flanders, 79 percent of adults have been vaccinated at least once, in Brussels this is 54 percent and 72 percent in Wallonia (excluding East Belgium).

Also, 3,829,652 people have been fully vaccinated. That is 33.2 percent of the total population and 41.5 percent of the adult population. Flanders is at 42 percent, Brussels 33 percent and Wallonia 43 percent.
