Almost every housewife these days will confirm that it is simply not possible without a washing machine. It is probably the most important appliance in every household. Few people really realize how much work this appliance can do and what possibilities it gives modern people. Unfortunately, it is not surprising that many do not take much care of this gem and let it function by itself, so to speak.
Most washing machines are dirty
“You wouldn’t believe how much dirt I find in washing machines when they call me to repair them. And I say to them: lady, how is the poor thing supposed to work with the washing machine if you don’t take care of it at all. Then when I show them what kind of dirt I can get out of it, they usually just stare,” describes experienced repairman Mr. Michal Bodnár, according to whom today 90% of washing machines in the Czech Republic are completely clogged.
Considering that even he himself is tired of cleaning the washing machine every time he visits, before he gets to the core of the problem itself, to which clogging is often closely related, he decided to reveal his trick publicly so that everyone can clean the appliance themselves in the comfort of their own home and above all completely free.
“Today’s washing machines can do anything, but they don’t completely clean themselves. Something is constantly settling in them, so from time to time it is necessary to carry out such an intervention,” says the repairman. All you need is a cloth soaked in a bowl of water, where you dissolve a little detergent. Focus on the seal inside the washing machine. “It is also necessary to remove and clean the containers where the powder and fabric softener are placed. These are washed separately in the sink.“
One thing works 100%
A lot of people make the mistake that if a cloth or sponge doesn’t get into a crease, they simply leave it alone. But this is unacceptable, because you need to get everywhere. “Therefore, take a toothbrush with which you can get into the tightest places,” advises Mr. Michal, adding that he also forgets to clean the washing machine door. They are broken and also require care, as they come into contact with clothes that you don’t want to get dirty from them.
As for the inside of the washing machine itself, cleaning there is quite complicated and it is not a good idea to leave it to an expert. However, he has an interesting piece of advice that has proven itself and works very well. “Take one or two tablets in the dishwasher and throw them in the washing machine. Then activate the washing program to at least sixty degrees, which you let run for at least an hour,” advises the repairman.
This process cleans the washing machine perfectly. In this way, you will get rid of literally years of dirt that you had no idea could be in the washing machine. At the same time, you will also achieve that your washing machine will smell nice. Most people then also admit that they wash much better because there is nothing holding it back and it is therefore more efficient.
