One hundred and fifty protesters for the increase of wages in the streets of Montluçon (Allier)

“We want an increase in salaries, pensions, social minimums and scholarships for students, as well as indexing the Smic on inflation”, shouted on Thursday 10 November Elena Blond, secretary of the local CGT union, leading a march of one hundred and forty demonstrators, who headed towards the boulevard de Courtais from the Place Jean-Dormoy.

Demonstration to raise wages in Moulins (Allier): “We must restore the sliding scale of wages”

For the CGT, strikes pay off

The trade unionist has repeatedly hammered that strikes can be useful, taking the example of the EDF social movement, which led to an increase in pay.

Safran employees have still mobilized

A message heard in particular at the Safran factory in Domérat, where a new strike is expected next Thursday. “The management only offers us a Macron bonus of € 750 and the equivalent of € 1,000 in action. These are crumbs as the company enjoyed a cash flow of 2.5 billion euros in the third quarter. For our part, we are asking for a 4% salary increase, ”said an employee of the demonstration.

The procession stopped in front of the Orange shop on Boulevard de Courtais. Employees denounced the “dismantling of the network of shops” of the telecommunications company.
